Wen Xiong, MD, FACR, attended The West China Medical Center of Sichuan University, formerly West China University of Medical Sciences, in Sichuan, China, and received her medical degree in 1994. Upon relocating to the United States, she served as a post-doctoral research scientist at Columbia University in New York City, NY. She then received a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College (2001), followed by the completion of her internal medicine residency with the same educational venue (2005-2008). In addition, she completed her fellowship training in rheumatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia, PA (2008-2010). Dr. Xiong received board certification in internal medicine and rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and President of the New Jersey Rheumatology Association.
